A special joint meeting between the Great Meadows Regional Board of Education, the Liberty Township Committee, and the Independence Township Committee was held for the purpose of having a presentation on the Dissolution Feasibility Study for the Township of Liberty on Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at the Liberty Elementary School.  The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM by John Inscho, Liberty Township Mayor.  A statement was read that adequate notice of the meeting had been given in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act.

Present: Robert Giordano, Gary Janiszewski, and Bonnie Kelsey.

 

Absent: John Cummins and Christina Saville.

Present: Helene Armstrong, Susan Cullen, Amy Dieteman, Peggy Faulborn, Robert Jones (arrived 7:25 PM), Joe Mahal, and Glenn Williams (arrived 7:25 PM).

 

Absent: Cynthia Russo and Thomas Webster.

 

There were 100 members of the public in attendance.

 


John Inscho, Liberty Township Mayor, gave an opening statement and introduced Dr. Richard Grip, Herbert Johnson, Virgil Johnson, and Vito Galiardi of Statistical Forecasting, LLC.

 

A Presentation was made by the Statistical Data Team.

 

Bob Jones arrived 7:25 PM.

 

Glenn Williams arrived 7:25 PM.

 

John Inscho, Liberty Township Mayor, asked for questions and comments from the Public.

 

Several residents voiced their concerns and opinions about the Dissolution Feasibility Study for Liberty Township.

 

No action was taken.

 

John Inscho, Liberty Township Mayor, adjourned the meeting at 9:33 PM.
