The workshop meeting of the Great Meadows Regional Board
of Education was held on Monday, June 12, 2006, at
Flag salute.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Helene Armstrong, Jennifer Cassini, Maryann Citro, Susan Cullen (arrived 7:35 PM), Peggy Faulborn, Robert Jones, Joe Mahal, Bernie O’Hara, and William Vonder Haar.
Absent: None.
There were 15 members of the public in attendance.
Susan Cullen arrived 7:35 PM.
Committee reports were discussed.
Public Comment: None
5.1 Upon recommendation of the Superintendent, motion by Helene Armstrong, seconded by Jennifer Cassini, to approve the following Personnel item 5.1.1.
Motion carried in a unanimous voice vote.
5.1.1 Approve Jerry Wohlgemuth as summer custodian effective June 14, 2006 through August 31, 2006 at an hourly rate of $10.15.

New Business:
Helene Armstrong remarked on the Spring Scholarship Dinner.
Jason Bing and Ruth Fanjoy left the executive session meeting. Jason returned to executive session after Superintendent’s review.
Motion by Helene Armstrong,
seconded by Peggy Faulborn, whereas, the Board must consider matters involving
personnel, the deliberation of such matters may be held in private under the
Open Public Meeting Act NJSA 10:4-6, the Board will adjourn to Executive
Session at 8:40 PM to discuss the above mentioned matter, to the exclusion of
all others. If any action results, it
will be taken following the re-entry into regular session.
Motion carried in a unanimous voice vote.
Bernie O’Hara recused himself and left the meeting at 9:00 PM.
Motion by Helene Armstrong, seconded by Joe Mahal,
to re-enter regular session at 10:40 PM.
Motion carried in a unanimous voice vote.
Motion by Joe Mahal, seconded by Jennifer Cassini, to adjourn at 10:40 PM.
Motion carried in a unanimous voice vote.
