Birthday Book Club

The PTO project called the Birthday Book Club is being coordinated by Mrs. Dot Somelofske.  Parents sign up to donate books for their children's birthdays.  Children can choose their favorite book or a book chosen by the classroom teacher.  A book plate is then placed in the new book and the "birthday child" is the first one to borrow the book.  Each child is then featured on Central School's WCSN news show and a picture of the child with their book is place on the hall bulletin board.
