Introduction:

I'm Ms. Roth, the technology teacher at Liberty Elementary School.  Liberty School home page provides grade specific links you can explore from school and from home.  On my web page I've included some excellent web sites for all grades.  All students in our school receive technology once a week.  For the younger grades, our goal is for the students to become comfortable using the computer and our lessons help them with mouse control and familiarity with the keyboard.  For the older grades, the classes explore Microsoft Software products such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Also, fourth grade will be utilizing Study Island and fifth grade will be involved in proper keyboarding.

Descriptions of Web sites

Kidsdomain: This site includes craft ideas, healthy kids info, food, entertainment, travel, games, holidays, clip art.

Puzzlemaker:  A wonderful web site to create puzzles.  The word searches are my favorite!

Jigzone:  A web site where you can put together a puzzle online using mouse control.  Try the 6 piece classics first!  Move your mouse to a picture on top of the page and scroll down to choose the 6 piece classics.

Alphabet Order:  Web site that provides four words to place from Z to A or A to Z.  You have the ability to choose easier or harder.  Games are also available.

Create a graph:  A web site that allows you to create different types of graphs from bar, line, area, or pie charts.
