The Janie Series

I was introduced to this series by a sixth grade book report I read on Mrs. Fancher’s wall. I was hooked right away. This series of books are fiction, but the topic of kidnapping is quite real. A girl named Janie discovered she was kidnapped. The books reveal the inner struggles Janie faces with the reality of it all and wants to make sense of it. Both families also struggle with the situation. I thought the series was finished after book number three. I was complaining to Mrs. O’Connor and found out there was a fourth and final book. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes true stories or stories that could be true.
