Doormat

Jaime, a fourteen-year-old girl, tells the story of her best friend, Melissa. As she tells the story, the reader learns a lot about Jaime and how she is a ‘doormat’ for others. It isn’t until Melissa gets pregnant, that Jaime finally comes into her own. She has experiences that make her realize she is a person too! This book was written by a fifteen-year-old and is an easy read.
