1. Treasurer Report
Money came in from BP grant, book fair, box tops, Market Day, school store and year book. Expenses for honor roll and PATHS yearbook ad.

3. Guest Speaker
Noreen Lishack, Director of Curriculum and Special Services spoke on curriculum overview, parent workshops, homework, special services, uniting the school district, GEPA and NJ PASS.
4. Old Business
School sign is still being considered. First Hope Bank will be meeting with Independence township officials on zoning for a “shared sign.”
Computer cart-waiting for information from the Education Foundation. Also waiting on wire testing in the school. Looking for help with wireless “hot spots.” Anyone with knowledge and/or equipment who can help out with this will be appreciated.
Global Connect-waiting until February for the complimentary service.
5. Committees
School directory-looking at adding email addresses next year.
Assemblies-only one will be held with game show format in late April or May. There will be approximately $1,000.00 left which has been budgeted for this committee.

Box Tops-$300.00 ready to go out. The revenue is down from prior years as they are harder to find and not on as many products. Mrs. Holochwost’s class won the pizza contest and she will be picking up the cost.
Honor Roll-scheduled February 10. We are losing February 17 from a snow day.
Hospitality will be used for our next parent information night. Dawn from First Hope Bank will be speaking on college savings plans. Scheduled February 7 at 7:00 PM.
Market Day-scheduled January 23, February 22 and April 19. We are always looking for help on pick up nights.
School store-is within budget. Michelle tries to hold them the first Friday of each month.
Student Get Together-went over well with all three grades. There was a profit of $287.00.
Teacher Appreciation/Tee Shirts-nothing to report.
6. New Business
Officers-are needed for all four positions for next year.
Tricky Tray to benefit the 8th grade Washington DC trip will be held March 25.

Comedy Night scheduled March 17 to benefit 8th grade trip.
AED Supplies-The district entered a partnership with Newton Hospital for three Automatic External Defibrillators. Necessary supplies not included: pediatric pads, first responder kit and a case to keep secure total $600.00 for each school. PATHS and the other two PTO’s are being asked to help out with the cost. Suggested to ask the rec committees for both towns. It was decided to use the profits from the dances. Training will be given to selected school staff and also open to rec committees.

Volunteers are needed during the day to help out in the Middle School making copies and whatever else needs to be done. Morning are better, whatever time. Call Mr. Ippolito if you are available.
