Goal-suggestion of a family night student-parent baseball game. This would not cost PATHS money as food would be donated. Idea is good and will look into it.
Suggestion to divide money budgeted to all grades to spend same as last year.
Motion for each grade to spend up to $400.00-Carolyn Pullman
Second-Sue Nilsen.
8. Guest Speaker
Mr. Ippolito stated March 7 is first day of GEPA testing for 8th grade. Last year breakfast was planned for each day to get students charged up. He asked if possible to do again. Sue will contact homeroom moms to make calls for food donations.
He received complaints the dining hall is too crowded for the 8th grade dance. This has been used in the past as no food allowed in gym and it is easier to decorate. Will look into sectioning off part of the gym with food set up in dining hall. Dance is scheduled June 3.
June 10 is 8th grade picnic.
Mr. Ippolito suggested having “Friday folders” which would go home weekly containing important papers. Parents know to look for these. They need to be signed and returned on Monday. Students losing them would be charged $2.00. Cost about $750.00 for all 3 schools and need to be ordered mid July. This is a good idea and will be added to next years budget.
Meeting adjourned 7:55 PM. Next meeting March 16. Nominations officials for 2005-2006 school year will take place.
Respectfully submitted
