1. Treasurer Report

2. Old Business
Automatic External Defibrillator -purchased by the Board of Education. Anne Young is checking to see if the rec programs will be able to use it. At least 2 trained people must be in the building.
Custodian appreciation was well received. No charge for the food yet.
School sign is being looked into by the First Hope Bank raising their sign and adding room for a school sign under theirs. They will possibly be contributing a major portion of the cost.
Street signs for the middle school are to be posted.
Computer cart cost approximately $25,000.00. Possibility of PATHS combining with the Education Foundation to purchase. PATHS has around $5,000.00 to contribute toward this goal.
Maryann Arch, former Administrative Assistant for the district passed away. Anyone wanting to donate may do so through contributions to the Education Foundation PO Box 222 Great Meadows NJ 07838. A card in your name will be sent to the family.
Parent Info meeting with psychologist Lee Monday had a decent turnout. Questionnaire was sent out for ideas on future talks. Suggestions included sibling fighting and self esteem. Dawn from the First Hope Bank will speak on ways to save for college, looking at either Feb 7 or Feb 22.
3. Committees
Assemblies-April 5 scheduled Pressure Points. Looking at game show like last years Brain Challenge.
Box Tops-Notice was sent out for a big push if sent in by deadline we will learn extra credits.
Honor Roll-Friday November 18.
Hospitality-nothing to report
Market Day-next pick up Dec 12. Maureen is looking into using high school students and 8th grade confirmation students who need community service hours as we are in desperate need of help on pick up night.
Directory-has gone out. Mary K. won the cover contest. Congratulations.
School store next scheduled December 1. Teachers are using whiteboards and are in need of markers for them. Asked if store can supply.
Teacher appreciation still has time but in need of a chair. Donna Toschas volunteered.

4. Goal/Special project
Still not decided ideas for wireless network and global connect which was used in the past. Global connect is where a recorded message is sent out to entire district for early closings, budget information, or whatever information is needed to reach parents. Cost of $2.00 per student with a free three month trial period. Suggested to utilize this free trial beginning around January.
5. Guest speakers for next meeting-Jason Bing, superintendent to speak on vision committee at the board of ed level, a representative to speak on the school level, and Noreen Lishak, curriculum coordinator are all suggestions.
6. Middle School Advisory Committee Meeting
Mr. Ippolito said one way to help improve the culture/climate of the school administration will be using comment cards in the office with a what do you think about? and a comment section. Parents look for these to fill out in the future when you come in.
7th grade math is being changed. Pre algebra will be structured into levels. Schedule changes will be going out.
