The workshop meeting of the Great Meadows Regional Board of Education was held on Monday, September 10, 2007, at Great Meadows Middle School, Independence Township. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by Robert Jones, President. A statement was read that adequate notice of the meeting had been given in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act.

ROLL CALL:

Present: Richard Alexander, Jennifer Cassini, Maryann Citro (arrived 7:40 PM), Peggy Faulborn, Robert Jones, and Bernie O’Hara.

Absent: Joe Mahal, Matthew Mowatt and William Vonder Haar.

There were 2 members of the public in attendance.

Committee reports were discussed.

Public Comment: None

5.1 Upon recommendation of the Superintendent, motion by Jennifer Cassini, seconded by Peggy Faulborn, to approve the following Personnel/Building/Grounds/Transportation items 5.1.1 to 5.1.3.

Motion carried in a unanimous roll call vote without the vote of Citro as she had not arrived by this time.

5.1.1 Approve Patricia O’Connor as Instructional Aide at Liberty School effective September 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 at an annual salary of $10,500.00.

5.1.2 Approve Catherine Stuber as Instructional Aide at Central School effective September 2007 through June 30, 2008 at an annual salary of $10,500.00 pro-rated to start date pending certification.

5.1.3 Approve Joseph D’Agostino as Instructional Aide at Liberty School effective September 11, 2007 through June 30, 2008, at an annual salary of $10,500.00 pro-rated to $10,209.95.

Motion by Maryann Citro, seconded by Jennifer Cassini, to adjourn at 8:05 PM.

Motion carried in a unanimous voice vote.
