Board Briefs – February 16, 2010

 

*    The Board approved minutes of recent meetings, both public and executive session.

*    The Board approved bills lists from the prior month for both the general and cafeteria funds.

*    The Board approved student observations for HHS students.

*    The Board approved field trips to Sandy Hook, the DaVinci Center in Allentown and Allamuchy for an anti-bullying program.

*    The Board approved the employment of Leah Thorn as a part time PSD Aide.

*    The Board approved volunteer coaches JeanMarie Tagliareni and Kathy Ascolese for MS Volleyball.

*    The Board heard various committee reports and activities.

*    Russ Warne and his staff along with the road departments of Liberty and Independence were thanked for their work during the recent snow storms.

*    The Board approved a motion asking the Federal Government and State Government to continue aid to local school districts.

*    The Board discussed a possible Separation Agreement for all staff and approved the advertisement of a Special Meeting on February 22nd at 6:30 to discuss and take possible action.

*    The Board approved a continuation of the lease with WCSSSD for the classroom space for the MD class in the MS.
