· The Board approved stipends for Workshops and testing.

· The Board approved two new teachers for the substitute list.

· The Board approved a new Instructional Aide for Central School.

· The Board approved a substitute secretary for CST Secretary for 4-6 weeks.

· The Board approved the Professional Development Plan for 2008-2009 which was review and approved by the Warren County Professional Development Board.

· GMRSD is in compliance with federal and state statutes and regulations for the Special Education Improvement Plan.

· The Board approved one Warren County Tech student to observe classes at GMMS.

· The Board approved one Centenary College student to perform her practicum at Central School effective 9/3/08 – 12/23/08.

· The Board approved the following policies for the second reading: 3515.1- Electronic Portable Devices; 5121.2- Plagiarism/Cheating; 8600 – Transportation; 8602- Parental/guardian requests for Bus Stops.

· The Board accepted the donation of 2 office partitions with a value of $250.00.

· The Board approved the 2008-2009 School budget for submission to the voters in the amount of $19,421,028 with a tax levy of $11, 664,907.

· The Board approved a separate proposal for additional funds in the amount of $313,939 for Full Day Kindergarten for the 2008-2009 School Year.

· The Board approved the capital outlay projects for the 2008-2009 school year in the amount of $141,302.

· The Board approved personnel to attend workshops/conference for the months of March, April and May 2008.

· The Board approved budget transfers for the period February 26, 2008 – March 25, 2008.

· The Board approved the participation with the Sussex county Regional cooperative for transportation services for the 2008-2009 school year.

· The Board approved a Life Skills Program Contract between GMRSD and Allamuchy BOE for one student at a prorated tuition of $10,133.36 for the period 2/26/08 – 6/30/08.
