CIESE (Center for Improved Engineering and Science Education) was established in 1988 at the Stevens Institute of Technology to help bring the Institute’s technology experience to the K-12 sector. CIESE sponsors and designs interdisciplinary projects that utilize real-time data available from the Internet, and collaborative projects that utilize the Internet's potential to reach peers and experts around the world. Each project has a brief description and links to the National Science Standards and NCTM math standards it supports.

Intercultural Email Classroom Connections http://www.iecc.org/

IECC is a free teaching.com service to help teachers link with partners in other cultures and countries for email classroom pen-pal and other project exchanges. Since its creation in 1992, IECC has distributed over 28,000 requests for e-mail partnerships.

Established in 1996, ePALS has 54,344 classroom profiles bringing people in 191 countries together as cross-cultural learning partners and friends to build skills and enhance learning.
