Web Log Directions

The web log (blog) for the Mammals of Wytham Woods "Live from the Field" Expedition is open only to registered classes for posting of questions. Anyone may view the questions and answers. If you are not a registered class and would like to ask a question, please use the e-mail link found on the Questions and Answers page on the Mammals of Wytham Woods web page.

Important guidelines for posting to the web log

  • Make sure that you have researched the expedition so that you can ask a knowledgeable question that everyone will want to read.

  • Limit your number of questions so that everyone will have a chance to post and receive an answer. We will have very limited time to respond to questions, and we want to try to answer as many as possible. You might want to talk with your friends and classmates. If you all have a similar question you can post the question together rather than having many of the same question.

  • Think about your question before you post. Write it out first. Proofread it and then have someone else proofread it. It might even be a good idea to type it up first using a word processor to spell and grammar check. Then you can simply copy and paste the post into the text box.

  • This web log is to be used only for posting questions directly related to the Mammals of Wytham Woods expedition. Any other use will result in the account being closed.

  • The web log will be monitored throughout the day. The web log administrators reserve the right to delete any posts found to be improper or not related to the topic. Accounts posting improper or unrelated topics will be closed.

  • Please do not put any personal information into the posts. If you wish to sign the post use first name only. Posts with personal information will be deleted immediately.
