Art News

Congratulations to Olivia M, Hannah C, Kerrianne D, Timmy M, Juliana H, Kayla S, Ashley C, Dixon J, Elizabeth D, Vicky S, Emily M, Amanda N, Nick G, Veronica P, Marisa S, Devon S, Kristen O, Faith B, April B, Tyler W, Brenden D, Alaina W, Patrick O, Victoria T, Jamie W, Riley M, Ally W, Ryan Ml, Clara K, Stefany V, Kasey L, Jeffrey A, Ryan M, Clayton S, Matias W and Abby C for solving the “Mystery Artist Contest.”  Andy Warhol, the famous Pop Art painter and printmaker, was March’s artist.

Here are the clues for April’s contest:

  • This artist was born in Russia in 1887.
  • He used childhood memories and images from his dreams to create a magical and mysterious kind of art.
  • He died in 1985 at the age of 97.
  • His initials are M.C.

Good luck, and please turn all guesses in to the art room by Tuesday, April 25th.
