The New Jersey Department of Education, along with 16 other states and the District of Columbia, have been working to establish next generation assessments that measure students’ skills and abilities in English Language Arts and Mathematics. PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career) will measure students’ abilities based on the Common Core Standards. This year, Great Meadows Regional School District will be participating in a series of field tests to ensure our readiness to deliver these online assessments, which will replace the NJ ASK starting in the 2014-15 school year.
