An updated version of the very popular Bill Arnett planet site. This site not only includes great information about the planets but also information pertaining to mythology. The mythological symbol is also given for each planet.

Windows to the Universe

Another great site including a great deal of information on each planet. Information is included about the relationship between the planets and mythology.

Think Quest

This site has easy-to-understand information about the planets. Be aware, however, the site has not been updated recently and does not discuss the "demotion" of Pluto to a dwarf planet.

Astronomy: Stars and Planets

Useful and easy-to-understand information is given about each planet. An explanation about astronomical units is given.

NASA has developed this very "kid friendly" site. A great deal of information is listed about the planets of our solar system.

 includes information about the mythology connection for each planet.

Interesting information and neat pictures are included on this site. Easy-to-understand facts such as the distance from the sun, number of moons and temperature on the surface of each planet are listed.  Included are many neat facts about the planets.
