Works Cited

Sample Page

                         Things to remember when creating a Works Cited page...

                    1.  The Works Cited is the last page of the research paper and should be labeled accordingly.

                         Type your last name only and page number at the top, right-hand corner of the page.

                    2.  Center the title, Works Cited, at the top of the page.  Spell the title correctly.

                    3.  Alphabetize source cards according to the first important word listed. Ignore A, An, The.

             4.  After alphabetizing your source cards, type the information exactly as it appears on the card.

             5.  Double space the entire page using 12 or 14 Times New Roman or Arial font.

             6.  Start each entry at the left-hand margin and continue to the end of the right-hand margin.

             7.  Indent second, third lines of an entry five spaces.
