Superintendent's Message

I’d like to use this space to honor some outstanding student accomplishments. 8th grader Arij Rouchdi
received 1st prize in the poetry category for her poem "I Sat Across from Death" in the Young Writers
Competition sponsored by the Warren County Consortium for Student Enrichment. Arij's poem was
submitted in the Grade 7-8 category. This competition is open to students in both Warren and Hunterdon
Counties, so this is doubly impressive. Arij will be recognized at the final Board of Ed meeting of the school
year in June, along with 4th graders Nathaniel Gonzalez and Finley McKenna (1st Place in Phabulous
Physics for Warren County), and all the Battle of the Minds teams in Grades 5 through 8.
