Central Parent Adivisory Committee Mission Statement and Goals
The Central Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is made up of parents and guardians with a common interest in improving Central School. Their desire is to maintain an active parent community and help launch a parent culture that impacts our students' education, as well as help to inspire a positive school culture. This parent group aims to meet regularly to serve as an advisory group to the Principal regarding educational needs, concerns, and improvements. Our goals include:
- Offer advice on a variety of school issues (school climate, social-emotional learning, Title I, special education, ELL, attendance, extracurricular activities, etc.)
- Promote and encourage parent and community participation in the school
- Provide a communication link between the school and the community
- Help identify the concerns of students, parents, and community members and assist in developing solutions
- to serve as liaisons and communicators between school administration, parents, students, and the community
The PAC will meet three times per school year. Agendas and minutes for each PAC meeting will be updated on this website. All meetings will be held on the dates below at 10:00am in the Central School Conference Room. Dates are subject to change.
