• High School Transitioning Information

    This is where you will find important information and links to help your 8th grade student transition to high school. 

    Hackettstown High School
    In the new year, all 8th graders will be assigned an individual meeting with a Hackettstown High School counselor to start the scheduling process. You will be made aware as more information is finalized.

    Warren County Technical School
    If your student is applying to Warren Tech, please inform Mrs. Mihail NO LATER than January 3rd. This allows proper documents to be sent over. You can access the application here: https://www.wctech.org/wcts/Student%20Life/Admissions/

    Other High Schools
    If your student is applying to a separate school (ex: Pope John, Blair, etc.) and you need assistance, please contact Mrs. Mihail. Please allow at least one school week for any paperwork/records to be completed.

    If your 8th grader is accepted to a high school other than Hackettstown AND plans to attend that school, please email Mrs. Mihail NO later than May 23rd. This ensures that students' records are sent to the proper high school for their freshmen year.
